- Key performance Indicators in Labour Room, OT, SNCU & Infection Indicators (SSI, DVAI, HHI) are monitored monthly.
- Birth Certificate generation by Municipality Staff attached to Newborn Registration Room and also Newborn Aadhaar Registration by UIDAI Staff deputed for the purpose.
- MRD – All Maternal, Newborn, Surgery, USG related and relevant statistics are submitted monthly to the Directorate of Health Services & Family Services and Municipality.

- In order to deliver safe CEMONC services 24x7 all-round the year, Casualty (OG) functions in three shifts manned by a doctor, nurse and paramedical & supportive staff in each shift. Admitted patients are triaged and sent to appropriate wards. Others are managed stat and asked to come for detailed investigations in subsequent OPD.
- Additionally, to take care of all admitted emergencies, deliveries, caesarean sections, ectopic pregnancies, ovarian cyst torsion, pregnancy with bleeding, miscarriages, etc., a team of 3 OG Medical Officers is on Stay Duty on rotation basis 24 x 7 along with Call Duty Consultants for management of more complicated cases.
- Routine OPD, Inpatient services, ward rounds, elective surgeries and preparation of OT list, Post-Operative Care, Post-natal & antenatal care are extended from 08.00 am – 02.00 pm by the respective units.
- Clinical Monthly Audits are conducted meticulously for whole department. The clinical audits include Maternal Mortality and Near Miss, Caesarean Audit, Still Birth Audit, Post Partum Programme Review and Referral Audit; Therapeutics and Prescription Audit, Transfusion Services Audit.
- Training Programmes for DNB PG students, Interns, Physiotherapy students, Nursing Students take place round the year.
- Teaching & demos for students, CME programmes are also conducted round the year by all the Units on the job.
